🥇Blackrock
IBIT reclaimed the top spot yesterday, with a solid inflow of 2720 BTC (USD $191m). They now HODL 269,000 total.
🦨 Grayscale
GBTC outflows picked up again yesterday, though were still lower than average. 1780 BTC went out (USD $125m).
🧮 Total
Yesterday saw total flows of net +1300 BTC, bringing the total held by ETFs to 842,000 BTC.
More 13F Filings Rolling In
More than a dozen additional Wall Street firms filed 13F reports with the SEC yesterday, declaring ownership of Bitcoin ETFs.
Again the important point is to look at the names involved, rather than the amount owned for now.
In particular, City Holding Co is owned by the Royal Bank of Canada - one of the largest banks in the world.
South Korea’s opposition party, the Democratic Party, has won the national election. They are apparently pro-bitcoin and have promised to allow South Koreans access to the ETFs.
TD Bank released an ad promoting Bitcoin ETFs and explaining the halving. An interesting turnaround for a bank that just four years ago, shut down Ledn’s bank accounts for providing bitcoin services.
Bitcoin VC Trammel Partners released a startup ecosystem research report. Key takeaway: in 2023, funding for Bitcoin-native startups was up 69%.
